We are looking for a skilled System Engineer TL with strong experience in enterprise IT infrastructure to support and maintain mission-critical systems in the aviation industry. This role involves managing virtualized environments, storage solutions, Microsoft enterprise services, and cloud platforms, while ensuring compliance with strict security and regulatory standards.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead and mentor a team of 6+ system engineers and technicians, fostering a culture of high performance, safety, and accountability.
  • Oversee and maintain Data Center infrastructure, including VMware (ESXi, vCenter), ensuring optimal performance and high availability.
  • Manage storage solutions such as NetApp, Nutanix, and VMware vSAN to support enterprise-level data demands.
  • Administer and maintain Windows Server environments, including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, GPOs, and File Servers.
  • Ensure the smooth operation of Microsoft services, including Exchange/Office, Certificate Authority, SQL Server, and RDS.
  • Deploy, configure, and maintain backup and disaster recovery systems using Veeam, including DR site management.
  • Manage hybrid infrastructure with deep integration into Azure cloud services.
  • Use SCCM to deploy software, manage updates, and enforce endpoint configurations across the organization.
  • Write clear technical documentation, operational manuals, and procedural guides.
  • Monitor system performance and security, ensuring compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 5-6 years of experience as a System Engineer in an organization with over 1000 users –Mandatory
  • Significant experience in managing a team of 6 employees and above –Mandatory
  • Defining work procedures and professional standards.
  • Experience in writing technical procedures and multi-year work plans.
  • Experience in building, operating, and maintaining Data Center environments, VMware infrastructure (ESXi, vCenter).
  • Experience in operating and maintaining storage systems: NetApp, Nutanix, VMware Vsan.
  • Experience in building, operating, and maintaining Microsoft environments: Active Directory Domain, DNS, DHCP, GPO, File Servers, Exchange/Office, Certificate Authority, SQL Server, RDS.
  • Deep familiarity with operating systems: Windows Server, Win10.
  • Installation, operation, and maintenance of backup and recovery systems – Veeam software, including managing DR sites.
  • Experience with cloud environments (Azure).
  • Experience working with SCCM deployment and control systems.
  • Relevant certifications in the field – MCITP / CCNA / MCSE / VMware – Advantage.
  • Scripting proficiency – VBS / Batch / PowerShell – Advantage.
  • Experience working with server-side and installing SSL Certificates on FTP and WEB applications – Advantage.
  • Knowledge of Unix, Linux operating systems – Advantage.
  • Ability to work independently.
